Panian Named New Senior Director of Revenue Cycle

MSU Health Care is pleased to announce Jeff Panian as the new Senior Director of Revenue Cycle. He brings analytical skills, executive leadership abilities, and crucial knowledge and experience in healthcare contract negotiation to our organization. Panian received his master's degree in healthcare administration from Central Michigan University and has nearly 20 years of experience working in managerial roles, revenue cycling and executive positions. 

Panian was previously a consultant within the revenue cycle operations at MSU Laboratories and the director revenue cycle at NxGen MDx. He has honed his skills across various health sectors and his expertise spans all areas of the revenue cycle. Panian has spent time at reputable institutions like Spectrum Health and Trinity Health Systems. He has a rich understanding of the payer’s perspective due to his time as a provider contractor at Blue Cross Blue Shield. During his time in these institutions, he oversaw strategic planning, negotiated and finalized contracts, managed payer relations, resolved contract-related disputes, and facilitated meetings between payer partners and revenue cycle departments. 

As Senior Director of Revenue Cycle, Jeff is responsible for the oversight of MSU Health Care’s entire revenue cycle process and manages details related to payer relations.
