Services

  • 2D Digital Mammography
Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women in the U.S. It is second only to skin cancer.  Mammograms are the preferred diagnostic test to find breast cancer in its early stages.  Mammograms work by sending X-rays through the breast tissue to obtain images. These pictures are then analyzed for abnormalities and assessed for changes from previous tests. In a digital mammogram, the X-rays are digitized and stored in a computer.
  • 3D Mammography
Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT), or 3D mammography, is one of the latest technological innovations in women’s healthcare. It enables images of the whole breast to be taken in slices, helping your doctor see in between the breast tissues to search for possible abnormalities.
  • Ultrasound
Diagnostic ultrasound, also called sonography or diagnostic medical sonography, is an imaging method that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce relatively precise images of structures within your body. The images produced during an ultrasound examination often provide valuable information for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and conditions.
  • Bone Density
A bone density test determines if you have osteoporosis — a disease that causes bones to become more fragile and more likely to break.  The test uses X-rays to measure how many grams of calcium and other bone minerals are packed into a segment of bone.
