Hematology-Oncology

Our MSU Health Care hematology oncology providers offer full-service, community-based outpatient cancer care, with a reach that extends throughout the U.S. through its participation in clinical trials.

Our providers have faculty appointments within Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Department of Medicine's Division of Hematology/Oncology. Our commitment to education allows our providers to teach future medical professionals and participate in research. Our large clinical practice connects you to the latest medical advancements including opportunities to participate in clinical trials.

Specializing in comprehensive cancer care, our medical oncologists work closely with other health professionals such as surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, plastic surgeons, and pathologists to design personalized treatment plans based on the most recent clinical and research data available. Interdisciplinary cancer care teams are used to create a cancer treatment plan. We offer care at the following locations: MSU Center for Bleeding & Clotting, Karmanos Cancer Intititute at McLaren Greater Lansing, and MSU Health Care Surgery.

  • Our Hematology and Oncology providers offer care at both McLaren Greater Lansing and Sparrow Hospitals. We offer outpatient chemotherapy on site at McLaren Greater Lansing Infusion Center. As a joint venture between Michigan State University and McLaren Greater Lansing, our infusion center is jointly staffed with certified chemotherapy infusion nurses, and an on-site pharmacist. Care is provided by appointment. Ask your health care provider for a referral to Karmanos Cancer Center at McLaren Greater Lansing in partnership with MSU Health Care.   • The benefit of seeking treatment with MSU Breslin Cancer Center is access to providers who are actively involved in research such as our clinical trials and committed to teaching the next generation of medical professionals through programs like our hematology/oncology fellowship.
